The Loudoun Free Clinic is truly a community effort. It includes many individuals and businesses whose donations range from providing dinners for volunteers during evening clinics, to medical equipment, office supplies, medications, and more.
Inova Loudoun Hospital: The Loudoun Free Clinic operates in a dedicated space of about 2,800 square feet. Our space, including utilities, housekeeping, and phone service, are donated by Inova Loudoun Hospital. Many of our volunteers are Inova employees.
Donation of Medical Services: Medications, laboratory test and diagnostic imaging services are provided free of charge to the patient through in-kind donations from Reston Hospital Center, Reston Radiology Associates, Fairfax Radiology, Washington Radiology and Radiology Imaging Associates. Lab services are provided through an in-kind donation from QuestLaboratories and Mid-Atlantic Pathology.
Referrals to Specialists: Are provided free of charge through a network of specialists who volunteer their time. We are grateful for our local specialists!
Grants and Private Donations: We have benefited from monetary support from the County of Loudoun, Inova Loudoun Hospital, Reston Hospital Center, Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and the Commonwealth of Virginia. Local churches, civic organizations, businesses, foundations, and private citizens have also given generously.
Donation of Technical Support Services is provided by the generosity of Tom Watson and his team from Capital Computers and Networks.
Donation of Website Creation and Support is provided by Dan Hunter of Tech Methods.
Donation of Meals for Clinic Volunteers: A number of local restaurants donate meals for our evening clinic volunteers, many of whom come to out Wednesday and Thursday evening clinics after working all day at their regular jobs. Some Leesburg businesses, faith-based organizations, and schools that donate meals include South Street Under, Spanky's Shenanigan's, Gallettas, La Chocita, The Lightfoot Restaurant, Costco, St. Frances de Sales, and Dominion Academy.
