Clinical Manager

Loudoun Free Clinic is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Clinical Manager to lead our clinical operations and support high-quality care for uninsured adults in Loudoun County. This role combines hands-on nursing care with leadership, staff development, and quality improvement responsibilities in a dynamic community health environment.

- Assess patients, provide nursing care, perform diagnostic tests, and develop plans of care.
- Deliver culturally competent health education.
- Ensure efficient patient flow and effective case management.
- Collaborate with Medical Director on annual Quality Improvement Plan.
- Support onboarding, credentialing, and re-credentialing of staff and volunteer providers.
Leadership & Operations:
- Manage scheduling for clinical staff and volunteer providers.
- Conduct performance evaluations for clinical support staff.
- Develop, update, and ensure compliance with clinical policies and procedures.
- Assist with grant opportunities, budget monitoring, and supply/equipment oversight.
- Set annual nursing goals aligned with Clinic priorities; provide quarterly progress updates.
- Participate in clinic, administrative, and community committees as assigned.
Quality Improvement & Safety:
- Maintain nursing staff competency and training programs.
- Oversee infection prevention, hazardous materials procedures, and medication/vaccine handling.
- Ensure compliance with Board of Nursing, Board of Medicine, and Board of Pharmacy regulations.
- Monitor patient outcomes, analyze trends, and contribute to monthly reporting.
- Lead hiring, onboarding, supervision, and professional development of clinical team members.
Qualifications:
- RN with Bachelor’s degree or BSN required
- 4+ years clinical experience in a doctor’s office, including 2+ years supervisory experience
- Active Virginia RN license
- BLS certification
- Experience in Free Clinic or Community Health Center strongly preferred
- English fluency required; Spanish preferred
- Proficient with EHR systems and Microsoft Office
