Patient Service Representative
Loudoun Free Clinic is a multi specialty office in Leesburg, VA. We are a professional, rewarding, inclusive office and our goal is to provide healthcare services for adult uninsured Loudoun County residents who, as a result of economic or other barriers, would otherwise go without.
WE DO NOT SEE PATIENTS WITH HEALTH INSURANCE SO THIS MEANS TEAM MEMBERS DO NOT HAVE MEDICAL BILLING / INSURANCE VERIFICATION DUTIES.
The Loudoun Free Clinic is seeking a full time, bilingual (Spanish) Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our diverse team providing top quality care to patients in our busy multi specialty office in Leesburg, VA.
CANDIDATE MUST READ, WRITE AND SPEAK ENGLISH AND SPANISH PROFICIENTLY.
Hours of operations are currently Mon/Tues 8AM-5PM and Wed/Th 8AM-8PM and subject to change to accommodate our patient flow.
Sample responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Greet and check-in patients and visitors as they arrive at the medical office
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate department
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Call patients with appointment reminders
- Track wait list for and schedule specialist appointments
- Collect patient information and update medical records in the system
- Handling/fulfilling medical record requests
- Handle patient payments/donations and provide receipts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Track and order office supplies
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents and maintaining that office equipment.
- Assisting with patient enrollment applications as needed
Interpretation of communication between patients and staff members - Training and working with volunteers assigned to front desk
Majority of interaction with patients is in Spanish
Qualifications:
REQUIRED:
- 1 year medical office experience using an EHR
- Reading, writing and speaking in English and Spanish
- Experience with MS Outlook, Word, Teams and Excel
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide excellent patient service in Spanish and English
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information
PREFERRED:
- Experience with MS Teams
- Knowledge of medical terminology to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals in English and Spanish

Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)
Position Summary
The Loudoun Free Clinic is seeking a compassionate and experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to provide high-quality primary care to uninsured adults. The APP will work collaboratively with our clinical team to deliver patient-centered care while supporting the Clinic’s mission of improving access to healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care for patients with acute and chronic health conditions.
- Promote preventive care and support patients in achieving their health goals.
- Educate patients about diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with Virginia regulations and practice agreements.
- Refer patients to specialists and community resources when appropriate.
- Collaborate with providers, staff, volunteers, and community partners to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Athena electronic health records (EHR).
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree as a Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program with an active Virginia license, or Physician Assistant certification with an active Virginia license.
- Prescriptive authority in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- At least two years of experience in a primary care setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
