To be a patient at Loudoun Free Clinic, you need to be an uninsured adult residing in Loudoun County, earning 300% of the Federal Poverty Level or less, and not qualifying for Medicare or Medicaid.
If you meet these criteria and have Type 2 diabetes, here’s how we can help at no cost to you.
Screening & Diagnosis
We offer thorough screening and diagnosis for Type 2 diabetes. Our healthcare professionals conduct detailed physical exams to identify diabetes-related issues.
Education & Medication Provision
Understanding your condition is crucial, and managing diabetes often involves medications. We provide personalized diabetes education to help you make informed health decisions. Our healthcare providers also prescribe diabetes-related medications when necessary.
Laboratory Work
Our clinic can do important lab tests to check your diabetes and make sure your treatment plan suits your needs.
Additional Help
Loudoun Free Clinic also provides glucometer supplies as needed. Appropriate patients may be scheduled to see our volunteer endocrinologist. If necessary, we can also refer you to community podiatrists for foot care.
All patients are offered free nutrition counseling to help them adjust to living with their diagnosis.
